Does a confirmation prove the calendar updated?
Only the agreed checks can establish what was saved and synchronized. A booking record, an email and a calendar copy have separate statuses.
Can a chatbot book appointments?
A conversational interface can be considered, but it must use the same availability and confirmation rules. A generated reply should not invent an available time or claim a booking that was not stored.
